BAKED SWEET AND SOUR CHICKEN

Pan-fried chicken cubes served with a sweet and sour sauce.

A pretty good recipe for a Chinese food lover like me. Easy ingredients too!! But I think it should say from the beginning to KEEP the Pineapple juice in a container for use in the sauce. I almost discharged mine!!

Absolutely the best sweet and the sour chicken recipe I’ve ever tried. My husband and I thought it was delicious. One comment about the directions: the amount of water to add to the chicken batter is a little hard to interoperate.

my first thought when I tasted this: “oh my god did I just make that??” this was amazing! the batter has a really good flavor. I added extra pepper and salt.

Ingredients

4 boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1″ pieces

1 cup corn starch

2 large eggs

1/4 cup vegetable oil

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1/4 cup ketchup

1/2 cup apple cider vinegar

2 tbsp. soy sauce

1 tsp. garlic powder

1/2 tsp. sea salt
