WHY I LIKE THIS PIZZAGNA RECIPE
This pizzagna recipe is great for two main reasons:
- There is very little preparation. All you have to do is dice the pre-cooked meat and arrange the ingredients in the baking dish. I assembled this thing in less than 10 minutes. That’s a real 10 minutes. Not like the time claimed by other quick recipes. The longest part of this recipe is putting the cold stuff back in the fridge once it’s done.
- The pizzagna goes into the oven covered with foil and that’s it. After 35 minutes, I remove the foil and bake for another 15 minutes. That’s it. This really frees up my afternoon so I can clean up after my kids and referee their arguments over the TV remote.
Ingredients:
- 6 No Boil lasagna sheets
- 1 jar of preferred pasta sauce
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- ¾ cup pepperoni slices
- ¾ cup Canadian bacon or cooked pizza sausage
